Recently, I had the pleasure of touring a beautiful and idyllic rural home. The home is the retirement dream of a couple who uprooted themselves from another lovely home near a very large, southern US city. The couple retired from an active life and career – moving to ‘the old home place’. On their portion of inherited land, they built an iconic country home with modern amenities.
The designer of the home is Richard Tubb of Birmingham, AL. The couple asked Richard to design an interior that reflects the setting of the home, which is several acres of pastureland and woodland that has been in the family for years. The setting is breathtaking…
