Did you do anything special over the Memorial Day Weekend?
We sure did! We happily attended the cutest outdoor country wedding I’ve ever seen! The setting was in front of a barn on a small farm, and it was everything a barn wedding was meant to be!
Guests were led along a path strewn with flower arrangements, culminating at the Bride’s Book and a cute ‘gift station’ in a cart.
The groom had spent MONTHS building the many props that he designed, such as the ‘saloon-style’ facade for the handy portable facilities made available for guests… complete with mirror, seating and a ‘necessities’ table with hand sanitizer, lotion, tissues and mints!
… And he constructed the awesome doors for the Bride and wedding party to walk though.
The guest seating was very clever. We sat on perfectly arranged, cloth-covered hay bales!
A rather large wedding, the seating filled up shortly after we arrived.
I was honored to accompany my sweet Daddy.
The entire wedding party was clad in cowboy boots, even the little ones!
The breathtakingly lovely Bride on her daddy’s arm… don’t you just love the ruffled burlap aisle runner??
Afterwards dinner was served buffet-style and consisted of barbequed chicken quarters, venison barbeque and all the sides! This is a shot of the Bride and Groom’s table:
And the Bride’s table and wedding cake… the inset shows the chandelier that hung above the cake!
There was impeccable attention to detail, and decorating eye candy was everywhere! It was all quite lovely and refreshing… and exactly what the couple wanted! I loved seeing this precious couple express their unique individual style and taste! It was Americana at its finest!
