Happy Friday!
Today I want to show you how to make an easy pumpkin topiary that will make a big impact with little effort!
You’re just not going to believe how easy this is! All you need is some kind of container – an urn, a large pedestal bowl, even an antique colander will be perfect.
You will also need a bag or two of spanish moss, a pumpkin and a butter or whipped topping plastic tub, whatever fits inside your container.
Turn the plastic bowl upside down and place in the container. Make sure the size of the plastic tub is such that it will fit down inside the container a bit – you’re not going to want it to show.
Then place moss around the perimeter of the plastic tub, and a little on top of it.
Place the pumpkin to rest on top of the plastic tub and tuck in more moss, if needed.
Voila! you have an easy pumpkin topiary that will enhance any fall vignette in your home! Here’s another one I made with a rustic metal colander:
See what a pretty addition the topiaries are to my fall mantel?!
Here’s a pic to pin if you want to save this easy pumpkin topiary idea for later – and don’t forget to follow me on Pinterest!
