Have you seen those fabulous monograms painted or printed on burlap? They are so pretty. I decided I wanted something similar for a wall in my house. I’m a little squeamish about running actual burlap through my printer, so I wanted to see if I could simply do a {burlap background} printable and design it myself.
I started with a background of burlap and saved it to a PDF file (and forgive me, but I cannot for the life of me find where I saved it to my computer, but I know I did! When I find, I will update the post). Then in Word, I added the monogram, a nameplate and the year our home was established. It came together very well! When I showed it to my daughter, she thought it WAS printed on burlap (not the best photo…I never could get a shot with no glare on the glass).
You can easily download this background for yourself and then just do what I did: add a large initial, a box for your surname (obscured in the photo), and the date your household was established! Easy peasy!! Then just print out, frame and hang on your wall (the rest of the wall is coming soon!)
Have you discovered printables? What have you printed and framed lately??
Blessings to you today!!
