Happy Weekend, Dear Reader!
No, I know it’s not the weekend. I had this in mind to post on Sunday, with the printable, but getting the graphic into a printable for you was a bit of a learning curve for me! Sunday, we celebrated my sweet Daddy’s 82nd birthday, and yesterday we had our not-quite-2-year-old grandson, as usual, so it took me till now to figure out how to get it done! I’m sure that doesn’t sound familiar to you, now does it? *smile*
Do you often feel as though we are living in very uncertain times? It seems that, ever since I lost my mom, I am more keenly aware of how just a few days, hours or minutes can often change your life forever.
Last week we heard news of that terrible crash of the German airplane in the southern Alps of France. So tragic, and from all accounts, totally senseless. There is always news of calamity somewhere in the world. Always the threat of war. Always the likelihood of terrorism in one country or another.
The world is full of troubles. It can be overwhelming when the news is so bleak and so many people in all parts of the globe are hurting.
Many of you are like me – our comfort and strength comes from one source… Jesus. Honestly, when things start to unravel, He is the only One who can keep it all together! If you don’t have that peace and comfort, I urge you to seek out a Christian friend or pastor and find out more.
Since I’m thankful for the Hope I have in the future, even amid the turmoil in the world, I have a lovely printable for you today! Print it out, put it in a lovely frame and ponder the implications of its words. It would be lovely in an Easter vignette on the buffet or entry table, even on the mantel!
