Hope you’re warm on this frosty morn. And maybe you’re like me and you’re taking advantage of this winter chill to get some things done on the inside of your house!
Thank you to everyone who commented on the previous post and helped me choose a paint color. You guys are fabulous and I want you to know how much I truly appreciate each one of you!!
Now let’s talk about the winning paint color pick! This was really fun. I hope you enjoyed it as well. I loved everyone’s comments and participation. Turns out many of you have lots of experience choosing a shade of gray paint color!
The winner by far was Amazing Gray.
Amazing Gray truly is an amazing color! I have recommended it many times to decorating clients, and have loved it for quite awhile… you guys made a great choice!
This is the breakdown of votes:
Amazing Gray – 13 / Mindful Gray – 7 / Repose Gray – 4 / Worldly Gray – 2
Are you ready to hear my choice??
Worldly Gray! And here’s why…
I didn’t disregard your input, I promise! While I love Amazing Gray, I felt it was a little too close to the color we already have – at least in intensity. When we bought our house, we had the builder repaint, choosing a medium neutral called Palm Springs Tan. What we discovered is that it is darker than we really want. This bedroom has the one large window and a single french door to a back patio. It needs some lightening up, and I’m ready for a lighter, brighter room. And Worldly Gray is on the same paint strip as Amazing Gray, just a shade lighter!
The other colors are equally beautiful, and I vascillated all weekend long! But, in the end, Worldly Gray won out as my one and only shade of gray. Here are some rooms I found online that used Worldly Gray:
