Wow, it’s hard to believe that it’s time to wrap up 2013! It was an eventful year for us. We had 2 births in June… both my little baby grandson AND Sondra Lyn at Home!
And you, my beloved reader, have made this journey one of the best things that has ever happened in my life! This odd-ball ‘career’ that I have happened upon is truly the most fulfilling thing that I have ever done, with the exception of being a wife and mother! To have the opportunity to share whatever creativity God has given me with the world in the forum and community that is the blogosphere is one of the best blessings I’ve ever received.
So…
In honor of our readership, YOU, I want to highlight the posts that were the reader favorites… your favorites from the last half of 2013!
Most recent favorites were the Nostalgic Christmas Mantel…
And my recipe for traditional Southern Cornbread Dressing!
In the fall, we offered a fun burlap pumpkin craft, that proved to be the number one post of all! Everyone seemed to love the way it looks, and especially the fact that it is stuffed with something most of us have lots of… those pesky plastic grocery bags!
Back in the summer, you really liked the makeover I did on my daughter’s china cabinet! In China Cabinet Chalk Paint Makeover, I took you step-by-step through the process, using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. And we all loved the results!
And one of the most popular posts was this wedding post…
I can’t wait to see what 2014 brings! And I wish many good things for you, my reader… I hope to bring you more of what you want this new year!!
Happy New Year!

Sondra – thanks for sharing your reader favorites. I loved how you made the heart appliqué for your daughter’s wedding dress. What a wonderful idea! My niece is getting married next fall and I’m sharing your post with her.
Thanks Michele! Happy New Year!!
